Notice, Removal and Appeals Policy
1. Contact channels
Report unlawful content, personality/intellectual property infringement, privacy violations, harassment, child safety risks, fraud, unauthorised transport use or coercive payment demands on Fav Driver, a vehicle-focused social media platform. Contact operator Ali Efe Okudan at destek@favdriver.co or use Report where available on the relevant screen. You do not need an account or participation in a journey.
Do not wait for support in an emergency; in Türkiye, contact 112 or law enforcement. Support is not an emergency service. Your right to contact administrative and judicial authorities directly is preserved.
2. Information to include
- A safe contact address for our reply.
- A content/account link or identifier; otherwise profile, community, date/time and enough context to locate it.
- An explanation of the violation, the affected right and any supporting information.
- Your authority if acting for someone else; for intellectual property claims, the protected work/right and its relationship to the reported content.
Send only necessary information. Do not send passwords, payment card details or unnecessary identity document copies. Supply incident-related content instead of an entire chat history. Do not download or redistribute child exploitation or non-consensual intimate material; identify its location and explain the incident. We will provide further instructions if secure verification is necessary.
3. Review and measures
Requests are reviewed for identifiability, supporting facts, urgency, rights and applicable procedure. Further information may be requested. A report does not automatically establish guilt or require permanent removal. Security systems may impose interim account/access measures during review; these can be appealed.
Depending on severity and repetition, measures include restricting visibility, removal, warning, feature limits, temporary suspension or account closure. You can contact the platform independently of a community administrator's or post owner's action. Copyright/trademark reviews consider both the claimed right and potentially lawful uses.
Reports and decisions are recorded for their stated purposes. A reporter's identity/contact details are not routinely disclosed to the reported person; limited disclosure may be necessary under law or for defence rights. Results, reasons and appeal information are provided where lawful.
4. Binding decisions and deadlines
Binding authority decisions are handled separately from ordinary moderation, using the procedure and deadline applicable to that decision. Special social network provider application/response periods apply where the legal scope conditions are met; internal review does not extend shorter statutory deadlines. Where the 48-hour response obligation in Additional Article 4 of Law No. 5651 applies, covered individual requests receive a positive response or a reasoned refusal within that period. This policy does not impose one deadline on all requests or all Law No. 5651 decisions.
Data protection requests are also handled under the Privacy and Data Protection Notice, within at most 30 days of a duly submitted request. Content review does not suspend your deadlines for approaching a court or authority.
5. Appeals and records
Appeal to destek@favdriver.co with the account/content details, any reference number, the reason the decision is incorrect and any new information. You may request reconsideration without paid membership. An identified error is corrected to the extent technically and legally possible. Statutory appeal routes and deadlines remain available.
Evidence is retained only for review, protecting rights and mandatory retention, with authorised access. Deletion, anonymisation and limited retention follow the Privacy Notice. We do not promise general content surveillance or advance reading of all end-to-end encrypted private communication.
