Fav Driver Terms of Use

Version 4.0 — 12 September 2026

Operator: Ali Efe Okudan, Yenişehir, Lens Yaşam Merkezi, Block C, Floor 1, Unit 332, Pendik / Istanbul, Türkiye. Support and legal requests: destek@favdriver.co.

1. A vehicle-focused social media platform

Fav Driver is a social media platform for people interested in vehicles, car culture and journey experiences to create profiles, share vehicle photos and captions, comment, connect and communicate. The directory, community boards and rooms, route stories, direct messages, voice calls, optional location and journey recording, and vehicle expense tools support this experience. Availability depends on the app version, membership and whether a feature is enabled. These terms do not promise delivery of a disabled feature.

Fav Driver supplies software; it does not undertake to drive, transport passengers, rent vehicles or complete a journey for members. It does not collect transport payments between users. An invitation, acceptance, route or cost card does not by itself make Fav Driver a party to a transport contract, create a debt or authorise an activity. Agreements between users are assessed according to their actual content and applicable law.

Presenting the service as social media does not remove obligations arising from its actual operation. Social network provider obligations under Turkish Law No. 5651, applicable content/hosting provider obligations, and data protection and consumer responsibilities remain applicable. An account, Premium membership, profile indicator or community approval is not official confirmation of identity, a licence, insurance, trustworthiness or earnings.

2. Membership and account security

The service is for people aged 18 or over who have capacity to enter into a contract. By registering you declare that you meet these conditions. Do not misrepresent your age or identity, impersonate someone or transfer your account. This contractual age requirement does not itself mean technical age verification has taken place.

Keep account and optional profile/vehicle information accurate and current. Have a lawful basis before publishing another person's personal information. Report suspected unauthorised access to support and take reasonable care of your credentials. The operator retains its own security obligations.

3. Content, rights and visibility

Your content belongs to you or its rights holder. Upload only photos, text, audio, logos and other material you are authorised to share. Respect the permissions and other legal requirements for other people's faces, plates, locations and private communications.

Uploading content grants a non-exclusive, royalty-free, purpose-limited permission to store and reproduce it, adapt its size/format, and display and transmit it to the audience permitted by your sharing settings, only as needed to provide the service. Technical providers may perform these operations for the service. This does not permit unrelated advertising use or selling content for independent commercial use. Following deletion, permission continues only as needed for recipients' lawful existing copies, deletion processing, mandatory retention and specific disputes.

Social media does not mean every post is public on the internet. Profiles, vehicle galleries, comments, communities, route stories and chats have different access rules; the relevant screen and connection/membership status determine visibility. Authorised recipients may save or forward content. Blocking or deletion cannot recall existing screenshots. Recipients must also respect these terms and other people's rights.

4. Prohibited use and vehicle safety

The Community and Content Standards form part of these terms. Harassment, threats, hatred and incitement to violence, child exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, fraud, spam, unlawful disclosure of personal data, intellectual property infringement, fake accounts, unauthorised data collection and bypassing access/security controls are prohibited. Advertising and commercial collaborations must be clearly disclosed and lawful.

Do not use the platform for unlicensed passenger transport, services outside a permit's scope, illegal racing or dangerous driving events, misleading tariffs or coercive payment demands. Knowing someone, using a private group, paying elsewhere or calling an amount a shared expense does not create a legal exemption. A licensed professional's lawful social post is not prohibited merely because of their occupation.

Do not interact with the screen while driving; stop safely first. Each person is responsible for their own decisions, driving, permits, insurance, taxes and other activity requirements to the extent of their conduct. The app is not an emergency response or safety monitoring service. In an emergency in Türkiye, call 112.

5. Moderation and appeals

Content and accounts may be reviewed following reports, security checks or binding authority decisions. Not all content is pre-approved. Proportionate measures may include warnings, visibility/feature restrictions, removal, temporary suspension or closure, considering severity, urgency and repetition. Automated interim security measures are not legal findings of guilt.

Reasons and appeal information are provided when lawful and safe. Appeal to destek@favdriver.co with the relevant incident/content details. The Notice, Removal and Appeals Policy explains the process. Community founders may manage their spaces but cannot remove your right to contact the platform.

6. Personal data and paid features

The Privacy and Data Protection Notice explains processing. Acknowledging it is not explicit consent or authorisation for international transfers. Any required explicit consent is obtained separately for the relevant activity; device permissions do not replace it.

Premium and campaign/boost entitlements are described on the purchase/campaign screen and in the Subscription and Pre-contract Information. Charges are for software access, with no guarantee of engagement, passengers, customers, earnings or transport authorisation.

7. Changes, deletion and termination

You may read and copy the terms in Legal Documents and on the website. Material changes are notified prospectively and renewed acceptance is requested where necessary. An earlier acceptance does not retroactively accept new provisions. Privacy acknowledgement remains distinct from contract acceptance.

You can initiate account deletion in the app. Content and record deletion follows the retention rules for each data type. Deleting your account or app does not automatically cancel a store subscription. Features may be restricted for security, legal requirements or service closure; foreseeable significant changes are notified reasonably in advance. Performance, refund and mandatory termination rights for paid periods remain protected.

8. Liability and disputes

Location, routes, time and costs depend on devices, networks, maps and user inputs; estimates can differ from actual outcomes. Profiles and posts are not platform recommendations, official approval or a vehicle inspection. Software and brand rights belong to the operator or licensors; members receive limited, non-transferable access for personal use consistent with these terms.

Liability follows each party's conduct, fault, causation and applicable law. Intentional misconduct, gross negligence, data protection obligations, liability for defective services and non-waivable consumer rights are not excluded. These terms do not impose an unlimited indemnity, transfer the legal burden of proof to users or waive statutory remedies.

Turkish law applies, subject to other mandatory protective provisions and access to competent consumer arbitration committees, consumer courts and other authorities. Turkish and English texts are provided together; translation differences cannot be interpreted to reduce mandatory rights.
