Vehicle and Journey Sharing Terms

1. Scope of social sharing

These terms supplement the Terms of Use for members creating vehicle profiles or sharing vehicle photos, route stories and journey invitations/records. Owning a vehicle does not confer professional driver status or transport authorisation. Fav Driver is a vehicle-focused social media platform; membership or Premium is not a purchase of transport.

Vehicle details, photos, captions and expense parameters are user statements. You must own or be authorised to use the vehicle and must not misrepresent vehicle, plate or personal details. A profile photo, badge, membership status or another member's comment is not verification of a driving licence, operating permit, insurance, criminal record, ownership or trustworthiness.

2. Invitations, routes and location

Invitations and acceptance support communication and joint planning; they are not a transport undertaking or official booking guarantee from Fav Driver. Consider your safety when choosing routes and contacts. Check the audience and visibility shown when sharing.

Live location, route stories and recorded journeys are separate data types. Stopping live sharing does not delete previously sent route cards or historical records. If recording is enabled, coordinates, times, distance, vehicle details and captured expense parameters may enter the journey record; a sent record may be visible to its chat participants. Do not unlawfully share another person's location or journey information.

3. Lawful activities

Meet the driving licence, vehicle documents, technical suitability, operating permits/authorisations, insurance, tax and safety requirements applicable to your driving, transport or rental activity. Do not use the app to offer a regulated service without permission or beyond its scope. Meeting on the platform, belonging to a private group or calling an amount an expense does not remove these requirements.

A vehicle photo or route post is not inherently a commercial transport advertisement. However, using posts to solicit unauthorised business, make deceptive earnings claims, publish misleading tariffs or demand payment coercively is prohibited. Including a vehicle rental expense does not mean the platform provides vehicle rentals.

4. Costs and responsibility

The Cost Calculator Rules describe inputs, calculations and sharing. A result is not a price offer, debt record, invoice, payment instruction or official taximeter reading. Actual use must be lawful; accepting this notice alone cannot make an activity lawful.

Do not operate the screen while driving. In an emergency in Türkiye, call 112 without waiting for the app. Report violations and safety issues to destek@favdriver.co; you can appeal content/account measures there. Your personal responsibilities do not remove Fav Driver's liability for its own conduct or under mandatory law.
